Luxembourg, September 22 -24, 2003

In Septemeber, Martha, Amanda and I took a couple of days and attempted to see as much of Luxembourg as we could. Luxembourg is 2,586 sq km and is slightly smaller than Rhode Island. We drove the seven castle tour, visited the American cemetery where General Patton is buried and spent a morning in Diekirch at The National Museum of Military History with it's unbelievable exhibit on the Battle of the Bulge. Click here for a link to the museum. Finally, we wound our way home along the Mosel River road. Of course we made a few wine tasting and purchasing stops along the way. As usual, we had a great time.
